I'll believe him when he lifts the transgender military ban. And supports gay marriage. And supports anti-discrimination legislation. And... you get the point. Trump doesn't support LGBT rights, he just doesn't.

I should also note that Biden's record is much worse than Trump's. Biden supported DADT, DOMA, and other anti-queer legislation that hurt the LGBT rights movement. Yet leftist queer folk still support him.

Queer folks aren't welcome in either of the two big parties. The Republicans openly refuse to give us rights, and the Democrats are scheming behind our backs and only care about stealing away our votes. Voting for Trump or Biden won't change anything. On the issue of LGBT rights, they're both the same.

When trans people stop claiming they are likely to commit suicide at any given moment over the slightest criticism then maybe other people will agree to stand next to them when they are armed.

They are undermining themselves here and the ban is completely reasonable given the current narrative trans people and their allies are pushing everyone to sign up to.

Not all transfolk claim that they're likely to commit suicide. I've never said that once in my life, even when I was severely depressed for completely unrelated reasons. Assuming that all transfolk are like that is an incorrect stereotype created by leftists to force everyone to walk on eggshells around transfolk. You're doing their work for them by promoting that idea.

Don't blame me for that shit.

Trump doesn't care if gay marriage is legal or not, so it's not an issue for me. And I actually support the ban on transgender people in the military. People who have to take hormones all the time to look like they are of the opposite sex are a liability on the military. If people with diabetes are excluded, so too should trans people. Besides, men and women are segregated in combat roles, dorms, changing facilities and so on, and rightly so. Allowing trans servicemembers opens a can of worms.

By the way, I cannot stand the word "queer". I'm not queer. I'm gay.

Fair, but what about trans people who don't take hormones?

Trans people who do not take hormones or surgery are not trans.
