Why do only men lose privacy?

Because evolution has made men into masters of predation (and continues to, forever). Men are naturally dangerous and women are naturally peaceful.
Being dangerous can be good. Controlled aggression with words can prevent physical aggression. Men can do that better than women, generally speaking; much, much, better.

Well fuck evolution, and no, being predatory and dangerous is not good. Especially for a Christian.

Jesus Christ was predatory and dangerous with the money-changers, you know

Yeah, driving people out of the temple with no further punishment is so predatory and dangerous. You know that's the closest he ever came to that. But the masses awaiting him sure wanted him to crush all their enemies and rule the world with a ruthless iron fist for them. When he didn't do that they did unspeakable things to him.
Women are no more peaceful than men. They simply don't need to go as far to get what they want, because men are expected to hand them most things. If she doesn't want to risk it, she can just ask a man to do it for her, and he is practically obliged. A man doesn't have that option, the vast majority of people will not help him and care not the slightest bit about him. In fact this puts women in a better position to manipulate, so while they are not inherently any more manipulative than men, they do end up manipulating a lot more. This isn't exactly peaceful. Hitler didn't kill all the Jews himself, but he was pulling the strings and approved of it. Nor did Stalin himself send tens of millions of people to the gulag and starve them to death, but he ordered it. But when it's a woman we tend to cover up her misdeeds and blame them on a man, even she did do them herself. Look at how judges give women criminals 60 seconds in jail for serious crimes but practically shoot men in the head for petty offenses. And that's if we're even willing to admit that a woman did something bad at all. We elevate women as if they're royalty, and when does royalty ever get into violence? They always order someone else to do it for them. That's the only reason women are "more peaceful" in this society. Inside they are no different. If you really think they are, try aggrevating a mother bear or any animal that doesn't stay partnered and see what happens. I don't recommend it.

That probably never happened. The early church not only debated whether John is an authentic document, but even among those who accepted it most either did not believe this particular story or thought it was metaphorical. Considering he never does anything like this elsewhere and it's 100% out of character for him, I tend to agree. Note that the other gospels only mention his driving them out, nothing about the whip.

We'll need a ruling from an authority on this.
The Bible came from the Church that assembled it.
What is that "Church" today?
What does it call itself?
They would know if the whipping occurred, don't you agree? They would know better than you or me, don't you agree?

No, they only cared about controlling people and neutralizing Christianity's threat. That's why they assembled the Bible and burned all the other books.
