I never look at videos send to me via messenger apps. As a principle.
Most messenger groups, I'm a member of, I look at less than once a week. This is mostly to make schedules fit, if required.
But many people nowadays are even too fucking lazy (or shy or whatever) to give you a call when there is a pressing matter. Especially women, very often, then often do complain with messages like "Why didn't you answer?" or "Why didn't you like this or that?". Which is a requirement for me to block people.
Implicitly assuming I'm sitting 24/7 in front of my cellphone waiting to reply on something most likely rather irrelevant like a robot for something just because they do.
People wanting to reach me know how to. After a while at least. Otherwise, they can play this bs game with other "people" more into this self-handicapping behavior themselves.
"Even when a million people jump from a bridge, you don't have to follow them." my dad always used to say.
