I think what this means is Reuters thinks they'll have to stop banning people and just censor instead. Cuz of inability to make money off someone who is banned so they never go to Reddit anymore. I doubt that. But twitter stopped banning when musk took over. Still censoring of course.

When they get tired of that, they just lock the thread.

Such as there is a difference between eating an orange and travelling to germany. Both are very different.

But seriously this website was designed to create chaotic conversations.. the function of this website is to disrupt your free flow of conversations.

It might seem chaotic since you're used to a singular flow of conversation. You're not used to free speech.

Reddit is a horrible website. Even if saidit was at least "decent", it would be miles ahead.

I like Saidit. However to use it I need to block a bunch of people, use the friends system extensively, and have to stir up conversation instead of relying on it organically. It's a bit troublesome.

But honestly, worth it. I think once you figure the site out it's just like old reddit. Old reddit was what no current reddit or clones will ever be, it was perfect and we can't have that back but what we have here is close.

I believe a Sith lord is in control of the republic. The plan is to turn everyone against Christians, and against people who won't worship the almighty state.

I think right now it is because it's young and people have conversations on here. And by conversations, I mean free of censorship for the most part. You won't get brigaded or banned just because you're not drunk on the local kool-aid. Reddit used to be like that, at least on some of the more specific subs, but now it's full of people just shouting their slogans, not doing any critical thinking, and trying hard to cancel anyone who doesn't rabidly agree with the narrative, which is decidedly leftist.

Maybe it's just the transgender issue they're going lax on and the Ukranian Nazis are still verboten. Or perhaps you caught the tail end of the old regime ban hammer. Impossible to say, but it'll be interesting to see how it all works out. I believe if Reddit doesn't shift to allow a more diverse range of thought, they're going to become rapidly irrelevant, especially as the youngest generation is sick and tired of all the radical left crap Reddit loves. It has become uncool and they'll one day be the pool Reddit is hoping to get their new users from.

Your ban is for the best though, Reddit is an echo chamber and it isn't healthy to be subjected to such a distorted view of the world. It feels like a timewarp there whenever Covid comes up for instance. Like they're stuck 2 years in the past because so much discussion wasn't allowed there. Still isn't in many subs.

I don't know if you've checked out Twitter lately btw. That's the happening place, although the format isn't as conducive to conversations as the reddit tree style is. Twitter is completely disrupting legacy media these days because they can't post their false narratives anymore without getting community noted and roundly mocked on Twitter.

Although all the important stuff I see on Twitter gets posted here too.

"Some leftists may seem to oppose technology, but they will oppose it only so long as they are outsiders and the technological system is controlled by non-leftists. If leftism ever becomes dominant in society, so that the technological system becomes a tool in the hands of leftists, they will enthusiastically use it and promote its growth. In doing this they will be repeating a pattern that leftism has shown again and again in the past. When the Bolsheviks in Russia were outsiders, they vigorously opposed censorship and the secret police, they advocated self-determination for ethnic minorities, and so forth; but as soon as they came into power themselves, they imposed a tighter censorship and created a more ruthless secret police than any that had existed under the tsars, and they oppressed ethnic minorities at least as much as the tsars had done. In the United States, a couple of decades ago when leftists were a minority in our universities, leftist professors were vigorous proponents of academic freedom, but today, in those of our universities where leftists have become dominant, they have shown themselves ready to take away from everyone else’s academic freedom. (This is “political correctness.”) The same will happen with leftists and technology: They will use it to oppress everyone else if they ever get it under their own control."

With all the turmoil on reddit going public, I noticed the last couple days this site suddenly has a lot more shillposts and stupid nonsense drama to make the site look bad because people are looking for alternatives to reddit... so to counteract this, now would be a great time to post quality stuff to the front page and upvote quality stuff if we want this site to grow at all.... or on second thought maybe being small is what we want lol

"Had a call with Reddit to discuss pricing. Bad news for third-party apps, their announced pricing is close to Twitter's pricing, and Apollo would have to pay Reddit $20 million per year to keep running as-is." by [deleted] in Reddit

Both Teddit and Libreddit are discussing scraping to continue their frontends. I hope this works out as there is no way I'm using reddit's trash site or apps.

Reddit has been a cespool of censorship, retarted left-wing politics and power abuse for a long time. r/conspiracy is one of the few battlegrounds even left anymore in the whole Internet.

In 1939, Knight of Malta Joseph Kennedy instructed all Jewish Hollywood studio owners to not make anti-Nazi films and to cease having Jews appear in films altogether.

Kennedy's fellow knight of Malta William Donovan is regarded as the founder of American intelligence.

The fact that they have been controlling the Vatican for hundreds of years needs to be made clear.

Both Hitler and Himmler admitted the influence the Jesuits had on the ideals of the national socialists... and it was the Vatican that allowed many of them to escape, out of which many of them helped in the creation of the CIA and were part of many of its operations.

The founding father of the CIA, William J. Donovan was granted the Grand Cross of the Order of St. Sylvester. Only like a hundred men have been given this award... and it is granted by the pope himself because of some service to the Vatican.

The CIA's director of intelligence Allen Dulles and the Jesuit priest Avery Dulles were blood related. Allen was also the CIA director that was in power for the longest time.

Like Donovan, the CIA's director John A. McCone was given the Grand Cross of the Order of St. Sylvester because of his service to the Vatican. John was also involved in the creation of the CIA itself.

Finally, the CIA itself is a Catholic organization, like its nickname implies. Which Catholics themselves openly boost about through their media.

Doctor Stephen D. Mumford, wrote in American democracy & the Vatican: Population Growth & national security, pg 172:

"The CIA serves as an agency through which secret assistance to the Holy Mother Roman Catholic Church can be provided by secret American society members acting as her defenders.

For creating the Office of Strategic Services [OSS], the wartime predecessor to the CIA, and this special arrangement with the Vatican, General William (Wild Bill) Donovan was decorated in July 1944 by Pope Pius XII with the Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Sylvester, the oldest and most prestigious of papal knighthoods. This award has been given to only one hundred other men in history, who by feat of arms or writing or outstanding deeds have spread the faith and have safeguarded and championed the Roman Catholic Church.

Donovan did more to safeguard and champion the Roman Catholic Church than any other American, and he was rewarded for his services with the highest Roman Catholic award ever received by an American. No doubt, thousands of others have striven with their deeds for similar recognition."

Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin was influential in Mao’s views and Chinese Intelligence as well. Teilhard was the most influential philosopher behind the globalist and capitalist movement. Even today, The Vatican is influential and has close ties to the Chinese government.

Former CIA officer E. Howard Hunt said in an interview in the documentary "A Coup Made in America" which aired on Canadian television series Turning Points of History in 1998, speaking on his role in the coup d’état in Guatemala in 1954 that:

“We had gotten the okay from Cardinal Spellman to go ahead with this… and I wouldn't presume to trace the lines of authority within the Catholic Church… how they get their information they deal with… We've always said in an admiring way that the Jesuits form the greatest intelligence service in the world and always have."

These people have gotten drawn so deep into the covidian cult that they literally don't know up from down. They now have a system of morality based on a dualistic ingroup/outgroup, vaccinated vs unvaccinated.
