All I can say is that I have had a controversial community in there (the kind which would be banned in less than a week on mainstream social networks) for about an year now and didn't get banned yet. Also, they market themselves on being for free speech and against censoring people for their political views or for "disinformation".

I think saidit is the perfect platform. It's low key and it's ugliness scares away normies and roasties.

I find it more pleasing than ruqqus was
