Narcicissm as a mean phenomenon, maybe?

There is a high number of people with personality disorders in all areas of medicine.

Surgery has a high number of psychopaths, which is worrying.

Sound assumtion for my simulation... i freelanced for some hospitals and this always made me wonder.

I always asked myself what the intention of these people to study these professions in the first place actually is.
