It feels like being on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphetamine all the time and you don't need much sleep.

If you actually take speed with this condition, it slows your mind, at least mine: Funny ain't it?

Like somebody confounded the poles in the hardwiring of your brain.

Did your doctor ever prescribe Ritalin? How did that work out compared to amphetamine?

Yeah, this one is a secret my man ... :) I'm at my best without both of them.

That's perfectly all right since it was a personal question. Funny, I feel like I know you.

Do you know this feeling when looking into one : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirror ?

When looking into a mirror, yes, I feel that I know the person but not completely. :)

Because it is a picture. Depth switches its sign when looking into one.

Left and right are reversed but why not top and bottom?

The depth. The distance to the mirror of each and every point switches its sign.

Ritalin/methylphenidate lasts less time and has harsher peaks on sometimes making you uncomfortable. Drinking caffeine with any of it is.. a mistake.

I had a doctor's script for Ritalin for a few years. Got a lot of work done and it was fun but decided finally it was better to taper off.

I take Adderall XR on days that I work, and soon for days that I'll have classes or be helping with homeschooling. You have to do a lot of micromanage with yourself, making sure you get enough water and take vitamins. I have cramping in my hands, legs, and sometimes along my rib cage if I take it without doing those things.

Ritalin just required me to take it too many times a day when I was working full-time, and just wasn't as effective. The halflife is shorter do it poops out earler.

How much were you taking? Did you notice negative effects at all?

That sounds more like mania than ADHD. I fall asleep on Adderall constantly.

No. It's not mania in me. I know this one because of the effects of the drugs on me. There is no mania in me.

Edit: This insight took them and me three years, even though all the test are almost suggesting this.

If it's not mania, consider it a blessing of sorts. It sounds almost more positive than not.

My theory is that the stimulant meds wear the brain out enough to calm down so that it can focus/quells anxiety.

I absolutely do. The only thing bothering me is, that it took such a long time to discover it, finally.
