It was in the 1960's. I grew up about mid way between Birmingham and Atlanta. There was this nigra named Martin Luther King that frequented our roads with these nigra caravans going back and forth. One day we saw this station wagon that had white shoe polish writing on it that said "I had a dream about what Martin Luther King Jr. said". Well that was it. We kids transmogrified that quote into "I had a dream about Loofa King". To this day you can buy "Loofa Kings" on the internet.
