Idk if we will have a huge market by then given we have zero now, but we may actually have a choice.

I know for a fact of a few companies in my country working on them for a few years now - and the current results are already close enough to human to be able to offer those vehicles, if not the countless regulations in place.

So, I agree that in 10 years (even 5) there will be many options - I do not, however, think those options will be actually legal in most countries for another 15-20 years.

I think you're on to something. Afaik, all Tesla vehicles already have the hardware built-in to be fully autonomous. They just lack the software.

If all Tesla models get the software update within ten years, we would technically have several options for fully-autonomous electric vehicles.
