If they don't support the president, they are not supporting any kind of peace anytime soon, at least not until after election. It's about power, and they won't admit it because they lie to take the moral high ground, which weak minded people then fall for. It's now clear how millions of people can do evil. You just convince them there is a moral justification for killing your ideological and political opponents until you have absolute control.
