Philadelphia cop is charged with murder for shooting unarmed 12-year-old boy dead while he lay on the ground

Wow, he straight murdered a child and not a single news agency carried the story. I wonder why.

They haven't released the body cam yet, but I wonder if the cop thought the kid still had a gun and was pointing it at him. The story said that the kid was "in a pushup position". To me, that's reason enough to think he has a gun underneath himself and is ready to continue shooting. The kid had already shot at the cops during the incident.

This sounds like the video shows Mendoza shot the kid in anger and not fear. We'll see.

There is a reason the videos have not been released. There is a reason this is not on the news.

This is philliy. They followed these kids in an unmarked car. Those kids had every right to fear for thier lives. Then, after creating the incident they ran down the kid and murdered him.

You have a right to shoot first when you have justification to fear for your life. Following children in an unmarked car in the ghetto like you are a bunch of gang bangers about to jump them is justification.

Children with guns? That's not normal in 99% of the U.S. Plus, you are defining "fear for your life" totally differently than me. If either of us started shooting when we felt uneasy, we would be in jail for murder or attempted murder.

Context matters. If a gang started chasing you down a dark alley and you started shooting you would not be charged with murder.

Victim white + cop Hispanic= no media coverage. Although I will say the little shit got what was coming to him. 12 years old and walking around with a handgun which he fired at cops, he fucked around and found out.

I think it's because BLM or the like didn't use their PR campaigns, so the media had nothing to cover.
