The safe place to pull over is right then and there. Refusing to stop is valid grounds (imo) to open fire until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.

At highway speeds, it should take no longer than 10 seconds at the very most to pull over after the lights and/or siren come on.

Longer than 10 seconds should give the officer full discretion to use force to stop the criminal. (If they weren't a criminal before, refusing to stop definitely makes them one now.)

Given the number of videos I've watched in the past 20 years, it's likely I've watched thousands of police interaction/chase videos.

No legitimate person refuses to stop for police lights and sirens.

Your personal risk of being robbed, raped, and murdered would be significantly lower if police had been eliminating the subset of criminals who flee the police.

Tell that to the countless people who have been murdered or raped by police officers.

Those standards would hopefully include actively stopping fleeing criminals. Though we've seen plenty of video of cops casually watching burning, looting, and murdering while just standing there.

Being pregnant is not a valid defense for criminal acts. A pregnant criminal should be shot just as often as a criminal who isn't pregnant.

I just want the police to be held to the same standard of the law they are supposed to uphold.

Then we agree, if black skin or pregnancy is not accepted as a reason for turning a blind eye.
