I'm a Houston native and was living there when this went down. The raid was lead by ex-Narcotics Officer Gerald Goines who obtained a warrant based on fabricated info from a non-existent CI. Goines career was filled with crooked shenanigans like this.

Bonus Fun fact: George Floyd of last years fame had a storied history with Gerald Goines from back when he lived in Houston. edit - a word

According to the forensics experts hired by the family of the victims, the officers who suffered bullet wounds during the raid on the innocent couple’s home were shot by their fellow cops. This is a direct challenge to the official narrative which states the officers were forced to kill the couple after the couple opened fire on them.
