He struggled with police and grabbed a weapon from the officer, which was a taser. He runs and the officers pursue. He turns and fires the weapon at the officers. They return fire.

Still doesn't justify killing the man, even if your description of events is 100% true. Taser is non-lethal, doesn't justify death
