However I think "getting fired" is hardly punishment for murdering a man. The guy who had his knee on the suspect (suspected of forgery btw) should go to jail for a decade or two, at least. This is very much still ongoing and not resolved.

It's sad that cops are so rarely held accountable that we think them just getting fired for murder is a positive outcome.
