The first Pokemon game I ever played was Pokemon Platinum, which naturally leads to gen four being my favorite, with gen three close behind (Emerald was the second Pokemon game I played, so you can see the clear bias).

If we get a gen four remake, I'll definitely buy it (if it's for 3DS). I just heard of the rumors today (I don't keep up with Pokemon very well anymore) and thought I'd share my hopes and excitement. I ain't been into Pokemon for years, but maybe this will get me back into the game. I got Pokemon Moon, but didn't play it very much...

Also, I don't know why the original title excluded "Diamond and Pearl." I deleted my post earlier and made a new one, so I could add brackets including the aforementioned phrase.
