With new technologies it's even more dangerous to even go on a simple date now as a woman. You can easily have something like this happen or revenge porn (filmed with a secret camera) get posted online. Men are fucking scum.

I'm going to leave this post up for educational purposes, but I'm also going to lock it as it breaks many of the subreddit rules.

As a note, please remember that ANYTHING you do online, won't always stay private. That doesn't mean that it's right for others to share things or to judge you for things that you thought would remain private, but rather just a realistic note that ANYTHING you do online could be shared for the world to see and judge you on.

Holy hell what rules does it break on Reddit? Are they kidding with that site? Why would informing women they are being preyed upon commercially be against any rules? Good god

That was a fucking bullshit statement from their mod. So now part of “girl survival” is blaming other women for loser creeps, like this is now standard behavior on dates ?

She was trying to warn others that this very abnormal and unacceptable male behavior is out there, and to be very wary. Granted, sexting and nudes are not something any woman should trust a random new date with, and even husbands have uploaded “revenge porn” and spycam vids....maybe the problem is with MEN, dipshits. 🤔

It’s true we should never fully trust anyone with our “private moments” online. Nothing is private once it’s recorded. But now we’re supposed to go on a coffee date and expect some “seduction tactics” MRA manlet to stealth record and share our entire interaction with thousands of his basement dwelling friends, and just accept it? Fuck this shit.

The fact that post somehow violates “Reddit rules” sounds ridiculous, but it certainly does fit with the site’s raging misogyny boner. These pick-me clowns should be supporting other women when they speak out, not telling them to shut up and bowing to Reddit neckbeards.

It's getting completely out of hand with the new technology. I have had more than a couple of friends being filmed/recorded in vulnerable moments and the extorted. Be careful out there.
