Speaking from my atheist side, I agree that we need to be careful around misogynist cultures. I've been called islamophobic when criticizing islam by people who have no idea what's really in the 'holy' book.

A phobia is an irrational fear, but when it comes to fundamentalists there is no such thing as an irrational fear, only understanding what that means and fearing it, whether it's islam or christianity, etc.

We flirt with our own demise by not rejecting the abrahamic faiths, or any faith that treats women as chattle and second class citizens.

There is no feminism in religion. We delude ourselves and invite wolves if we pretend otherwise or shield them from criticism.
