Hey bro! I love the areospike concept.

The excuse for not using areosikes in rocket designs is absurd. Musk claims that space x is focusing on energy efficiency, but there incremental increase in fuel type efficiency is trivial compared to the loss due to the atm pressure drop.

The physics that the areosike is designed to compensate for also thoroughly debunk space travel beyond Earth orbit. IMO.

I think that the reason that they're not using it is space travel beyond orbital distances is not achievable without the use of an areospike.
It's still improbable with one.
