Without doubt, as an ethical creed, Christianity has much to teach us. Whether or not Jesus was merely a man or indeed the Son of God is quite incidental; Christian ethics are cogent. To the dangerous excesses of cancel culture and moral relativism, they offer a forceful corrective.

not even incidental, he never existed at all, so the ethics are not 'cogent'.
