The dominant theory for why revolutions always end in a bloodbath is that the vision of the glorious future does not fit the people, so the revolutionaries decide they need a new people, which means getting rid of the old people.

That one line in the article is bullshit. Institutional murder is obviously not the sole domain of revolutionaries as my example points out. I think it's an interesting article.
