Rachel Dolezal, Pocahontas Warren, George Santos, plenty of failures to cross-race-identify, but I'm not aware of any instances of this that have been sanctioned by the woke left, despite their principles clearly leading to this. The closest I can think of is Beto O'Rourke who had gotten away with appropriating a name, to only a little bit of woke criticism, but I can't think of any public figure accepted as any kind of transracial like say Caitlyn Jenner was accepted as a woman
