Hitler did have redeeming qualities. In many ways, he was a better person than a lot of people who hate him. Now, socialism is bad, government is a scam, and he was off base with some of his major views. And it's perfectly legitimate to shoot at people who do try to enforce those things with the state. But, virtue means 'manliness' not 'being too cowardly to commit acts other people tell you are bad'. People like Genghis Khan might be arch-criminals and I wouldn't cry if you shot them. But is was Temujin a better person, in many ways, than Brian Stelter? Hell yes.
