I don't blame her. That drive is not 30 minutes as we speak, because of terrible construction going on on the 101 north. If I had a plane I would 100% have done the exact same thing.

Yeah an Airbus with several hundred passengers, not a private jet with 1. Also enufangirl is hardly a recognized expert on the subject, nor has she cited her sources

BTU efficiency means practically nothing though. It tells us a bit about energy efficiency but that's about it.

But commercial airline flights at optimum passenger numbers can get relatively close to the energy efficiency of a car per a ground mile, they still pollute more, but they aren't completely awful for the environment.

However, a private jet, flying 26 miles is absolutely INSANELY wasteful no matter how you cut it.

Remember kids. Don’t buy an airplane before you buy a chopper. That way when you do get a plane you can take your chopper to the airport as well as being able to skip the airport completely for shorter trips.
