That was hilarious. You could see by the emails that nobody cares. They just want to appear to be conscientious "I'm sure we will locate your loved one's body within a year or so." That's the way it is nowadays.

Given that it's illegal for fedex to accept human remains, it seems extremely likely IMO that someone involved with arranging that shipment is trying to hide something about the death. Could easily even be that someone posed as a FedEx employee to steal the body.
