She identifies as "queer" whatever the fuck that means.

The wisdom of choosing to openly identify as what once widely considered a slur being non-withstanding. Queer in these cases usually means "Straight but socially gay".

I mean they are covering the twerking campaign add because it's going to generate far more buzz than anything she's accomplished politically. Duh, she knows this which is why she's doing it. Clearly she's not confident on running her campaign based solely on her legislative history or else she would have done that.

Mack, who lists her pronouns in her Twitter bio and says she is a “queer educator,” previously celebrated her teaching role, during which she taught “comprehensive, queer inclusive, pleasure based sex ed.”

So she taught sexualized sex ed to minors, which I am sure was part of the group that did so through illegal means, which... is pretty on par with senator level bullshit.
