Former ob/gyn Adam Kay has written a (to me) hilarious book titled This is Going to Hurt about his experiences in this area. He does not care for the UK's NHS and wrote the book after retiring from the National Health Service at a much younger age than is usual. But his advice I think would be: be careful what you put up there.
