My ex was beautiful - but she usually took bad photos. (I had another ex who was very pretty too but always looked just amazingly stunning in photos. I don't know why.) She had an exceptionally excessive habit of blinking - it was statistically impossible to be blinking so much in all those photos - yet there's no shortage of proof.

On one occasion she got a good photo she used as her Facebook avatar. Little does anyone know that it's tightly cropped on her head wearing a Canadian toque and that the corner of the image has been blurred in Photoshop. Without the touch-up you wouldn't know unless it was explained, or unless you saw the uncropped photo, that it's my penis on her shoulder on July 1, Canada Day, in our Oakland hot tub, wearing nothing but the cap.
