this is really the root cause of everything else that is happening now and threatening to collapse western civilization. this should have never been allowed to happen, this was the moment that we lost respect for human life and everything else that has followed has been the inevitable result of that. we can keep pretending that we did nothing wrong in allowing this to happen, but nothing built on lie can stand and will ultimately end in ruin.

Disgusting, but I am not surprised.

Abortion should not be allowed under any circumstances after the baby is viable. Between 12 weeks into the pregnancy and viability, abortion should only be allowed if giving birth could kill the mother or the unborn child has a terminal illness which will kill him or her painfully. In fact, I don’t like abortion at all at any point in the pregnancy as a form of contraception, especially when there are many alternative forms of contraception available.

I remember when Ireland legalised abortion on demand for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Liberals in Ireland celebrated when that happened. Liberals in America would call our abortion law "misogynistic", because Florida plans to limit abortion on demand to 15 weeks and leftists are screeching over it. You cannot compromise with these people.

The only issue is that sexing and other genetic tests can't occur until eight weeks in. This leaves about a month to have both the prenatal testing appointment and said abortion. As of my speaking, only at-risk mothers are even allowed access to pre-natal testing at eight weeks. I'm not going to go as far to say that it's oppressive against poor people who can't access pre-natal testing, since they can always get an uninformed abortion, but if they are only able to find out that they're kid is retarded after an abortion deadline that rich folks aren't privy to, then that is pretty unfair.

You can have exceptions for retarded babies, but it is liberals who won't allow that because it implies retarded babies are less valuable.

I know, and I agree that they provide subjectively the same value. But some people prefer objective approach, even if they are poor and/or unable to access elitist medicine.

After 10 weeks of pregnancy, I support abortion in exceptional circumstances. The foetus being retarded is one of these reasons. Which isn’t nice, don’t get me wrong, but people who can’t raise retarded children and who don’t know anyone willing to adopt retarded children have their hands tied.
