So black women see slavery as good? Living in close proximity with white men? Having sex with powerful white men?

Yeah, that's it! Punch down! You show those poor black women who's boss! Let them know their tastes are shameful and wrong!

it does explain how they're doing all this stuff with traditional white culture only having black actors, like the black Christmas carol, and bridgerton

If you actually know the story the racist jokes go a lot deeper than that.

Scarlet chases her best friend's husband which allows him to play them against each other and make a fool out of her, nothing a black woman would recognise I'm sure.

She steals her own sister's man just because she wants his money, still nothing.

She has 3 kids with 3 different fathers and the book ends with her husband walking out on her, still I can't see why black American women can relate.

I've not read the book but I've always viewed Scarlet as an out and out psychopath.

To me that's why it can't be cancelled because rather than being a sweet nostalgic romance as many people assume it's actually an antihero surviving through a corrupt dystopia disintegrating around her.

Disney tried to get rid of "Song of the South" but you can still get a copy.
