They are good points. Satire is meant as a vehicle for scathing critique. But, I think they get the causation wrong. People read the Bee because it's funny. It's funny because it humorously illustrates things readers already know to be true.

They want to censor it because it makes very good points and ridicules the left in ways that hurt them. SJWs are completely humorless and cannot bear to be laughed at.

I don't think it's funny. Only people who like their 'right-wing disinformation' will think they're funny. The site is obviously pushing a narrative with right-wing disinformation, especially to a demographic that think's they're Christians, aka the American Taliban.

Try not to killjoy when you troll.

The world's miserable enough.

I am sincere in my concerns about Babylon Bee, not trolling. Ask me anything. Yes, there is no joy in this Satanic website.

Well I don't personally belive in satan, because I'm sane.

I only wonder about Satan when I see Kenneth Copeland, and similar demons:

I doubt you find anything actually funny, and anything you claim to be humorous is anything but

OK numbnuts - I read the Devil's Dictionary many years ago - where one learns that:

MISCREANT, n. A person of the highest degree of unworth. Etymologically, the word means unbeliever, and its present signification may be regarded as theology’s noblest contribution to the development of our language.

These are the shitheads at Babylon Bee, as the only 'Jesus' they believe in is the evangelical, supply-side Jesus, and these bible-thumping asshats are tryint go fool the 99% while the 1% take everything they own.

They wouldn't know the real Jesus if he threw the merchants out of the temple. They're miscreants.

You don't have to be right or religious to think most of their stuff is not just funny but hysterical.

That's what makes them subversive.

(Almost like the FOX News helicopter logo on the Simpsons: "not racist; #1 with racists." Or: Babylon Bee - No theocratic agenda; #1 with those who have a theocratic agenda.)

Funny examples, both.

Subversion by it's very nature can be funny.

Joke formula:

  1. This thing happened.
  2. This thing happened the same way, developing a pattern.
  3. This thing subverts the pattern and expectations by being unexpectedly different.

Occasionally subversion is tragic, like what happened to the Star Wars franchise.

Remember kids, Wikipedia foundation need your donation to survive. They only made 14 million $ of profit in 2019 and only have 180 million worths of assets based on their own financial statement in their 2019 annual report.

Their are benevolant people who works for your good. They don't seek profit, they only seek to help you.
