Tbf, I think most Americans can't tell the difference between The Onion/The Babylon Bee and real news anymore - if they aren't aware the Babylon Bee or The Onion is satirical news site, depending on the article, they literally will believe it. I've had people cite The Onion or Babylon Bee to me before in discussions, my poor old Aunt even. Most people don't read more than the headline and first few sentences to begin with, and then they expect the article to do all the thinking for them, so if it's professional and neatly presented bullshit, they believe it. To top it all off, reality is so clown-wordly that the shit they're publishing as a joke, could easily be a real news headline. That's what makes it so funny imo lol.

Remember when leftists reworded and stripped all context from Babylon Bee articles and still didn't fool half of conservatives? Pepperridge farm remembers.

STOP USING THE FAKE NEWS TERM.

It is a politically correct cognitive infiltration term meant to subvert perception management and PsyOps.
