the soviet union also managed to build up a formidable army very quickly which completely surprised hitler. there is a recording he talks about this with the swedish pm. the chinese are probably squeezing every drop of blood out of their slave labor in order to accomplish a rapid military expansion such as this.

They already have a great military. And Russia will be by their side.

Yes, Hitler admitted that he would have never attacked if he had realized beforehand how built up the Soviets military really was. They were certainly ready but not for defense, offense.

i thought navies were pretty useless now. i read something about them building artifical islands...as like an artificial land grab.

They probably are vs 2 superpowers. But no one knows fully how effective modern anti missile defenses are against modern missile tech
