Teachers in general don't understand how the world works. They live in a bubble where their own performance can not be measured, so they never have to compete. That means stupid teachers are on the same footing, get the same pay and benefits, the same raises as intelligent teachers. The same goes for lazy vs hard working. The only real thing that can make a difference is building relationships with administrators to get benefits through nepotism.

This is why they hate standardized testing so much. They absolutely hate anything that exposes discrepancies in performance.

This is a big factor in why they are overwhelmingly left leaning. Personal effort is worthless in their world while collective action through unions is the most powerful thing they know. So in their world collectivism is the answer to everything while personal effort is useless.

That's some huge bad-stereotype full-of-holes blanket-statements you're tossing off over everything there.

I might try to teach you something but we'd have to go back grade 1, and I just don't have time for that.

You had the time to throw a bunch of baseless accusations.

Saying that the teaching profession does not have a functioning way of measuring teacher performance is not a stereotype, it is a fact.

Saying that this means they don't have to compete is not a stereotype, it is a fact.

Saying that they live in a bubble, given that 90+ percent of teachers are liberal, is a fact.

Saying that being in a non competitive field, surrounded by liberals their entire life makes them detached from reality is a fact.

You can't teach anyone anything because you are ignorant. All you can do is make baseless accusations, insults, and demand that others agree with your opinions.

I had the time to write two lines - not baseless. I came back to reschool you. (See other comment.)

You claim it's a fact without offering evidence - because it's moot with many views all with their own "facts".

Ditto.

Ditto. Define "liberal".

Being a teacher is NOT a non-competitive field, I can guarantee you. My family is chock full of fucking teachers (and doctors/scientists and artists - many overlapping), NOT all liberals, and certainly not Corporate SJW Dem™ Lefties. You seem to be among the most detached from reality on SaidIt I've seen in a week or few. Also, "fact" you keep using that word.

ALL of your baseless "facts" are your opinions.

I suspect I've taught more folks good shit on SaidIt than you have your whole life. That's my opinion. Perhaps I am ignorant. Perhaps it's a real fact that you are ignorant.

It seems your are talking to yourself in the mirror again:

" All you can do is make baseless accusations, insults, and demand that others agree with your opinions. "
