The whole reason the far East had lower deaths was not due to lockdowns or masks but to prior immunity formed from previous coronaviruses.

If you have natural immunity then the first dose of the vaccine acts like a second dose and the second acts like an unnecessary third dose.

In the UK children are only being advised to have 1 dose, if they have it at all, for this reason. 50% of young people already have natural immunity and cases of myocarditis shoot up on the second dose.
