Look I know there are some serious issues going on in the world right now, but sometimes...well. Bastards who get caught are still bastards.

MacNeille said he believed their apologies were heartfelt, but largely sparked by them being caught red-handed on CCTV footage.

“I didn’t have a sense they were going to turn their life around, nor [do] I anticipate that.”

MacNeille said the trio, who lived locally, contributed “a little bit of money" for the products they stole.

His last piece of advice for the men, after agreeing to remove the images of them from the company’s Facebook page and not to press charges, was that they should pull their heads in.

“If they goof up in the future, and I have lots of eyes and ears in the community,... we’ll find out.”
