Despite the fact that I was born in a time period where Venezuela was already falling into the black hole it is currently in, I remember it was somewhat common to know and make friends with whoever you would meet. A lot of us grew up under relatively poor conditions, but we were really close to each other. As insecurity started getting worse, it was natural for these things to become stranger as time went on. I wonder if technology also had something to do with people becoming more isolated from each other?
As I grew up and started getting more responsibilities, I started putting more priorities in my own family, but watching the conditions of my country getting worse made me obsessed with finding the way of changing things. I suppose I ended up becoming a conspiracist because of it. The fact that I became resentful towards most authorities didn't help either, I'm still rather infamous because of it.
Watching all of these different interactions between people, how the economic crisis and the development of technology affected my people makes me wonder what are true nature really is. I think people have a natural tendency to develop collective identities, I don't think these should completely get rid of your own subjectivity, but the collective identity should still be part of who we are as well.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
