It’s been pretty much officially confirmed by this video that there is going to be no more Oliver Tree, if he keeps making music it’ll be under Little Ricky the Alien (on Oliver’s secret personal YouTube channel, he has a lot of unreleased & unfinished songs, demos and acapellas and the alien who appears in this video appears there frequently too), and a new recording label and deal, he spoke seriously on his recording label and how it’s holding him back.

They’re trying to pump single and single out of him.

Whatever he does next, I know It’ll be interesting! Glad you liked it, idk, there’s something about his music that has a rly relaxing vibe to me despite the content. It’s like he gets it haha.

People are starting to catch on now and reupload. But he’s creating a whole universe with characters which works well for recording contracts I guess and shows his creativity, if creative directing and movie production is what he really wants.

From all the lil Ricky songs I’ve heard, they either sound like 80’s new wave mixed with funk and rnb, or auto-tuned cloud rap almost (whereas Oliver tree said Oliver’s sound is very much inspired by the gorillaz). It’d be interesting imho for Oliver tree to take a break and hear “alien boy” take over.

Interesting. Maybe he's just tired of the persona he's created and wants to do something other than JNCO Jeans and scooters, lol. Maybe this is his way of retiring the character with a bang. Who knows. I'm not surprised he'd be a bit targeted by the music industry though, they're a villainous bunch from what I understand.

I’m on mobile so I can’t find his personal YouTube channel right now, but there are some videos from when he was in his early teens like 14-15, talking about how he wanted to be a movie director and creative director, around the regular and Oliver Tree days too.

I don’t think he’s completely retiring Oliver Tree, but he’s definitely building his own musical universe and shelving Oliver tree, gorillaz-style, so he can make any style of music he wants under different stage names that cater to different audiences.

it’s a smart idea and way of retiring/putting the JNCO Jeans and Scooter riding character on the shelf for a while and trying something new without leaving loose ends as there’s a story connection between the two characters (it’s not like this is an unrelated side project), show what other music he’s capable of making, build his audience even more with the rap and funk scene, and although it’s a fucking alien based on Little Richard lmao, it’s easier to fuck with/take seriously than the character that is Oliver Tree.

I think he learned his lesson tho and I’m interested in hearing the little Ricky z63 mixtape, I’m sure it’ll be dope haha! Ironically, I thought Oliver Tree’s gimmick looked stupid which is why I clicked on his all that/alien boy music video to check it out, and the songs were so good compared to everything else currently coming out.

True, good points. It is pretty smart to build up several characters that might interact. I hope he doesn't permanently retire Oliver Twist though.

I guess I'll have to listen to some little ricky stuff too then
