I honestly don't know the band members names, albums or song titles.. They just randomly pop into my head a few times a year since I discovered them in high-school. For some reason I never got into them but I really like their music a lot. I'm not sure what the term for it is, but the lead singer has an awesome vocal range and is great at holding notes.. He's just a great singer all-around, not even sure how to describe his style, but it's unique and so is his voice. Their music has progressed really well too, it's changed, but it still sounds like them in a good way, not like they sold-out, and not like they're trying to hold onto the past and becoming a band based on nostalgia.

For some reason they never got big in the USA, at least not on the east coast. None of my friends had ever heard of them, and tbh, I never saw any advertising for them for some reason. They definitely were one of the better bands from that era musically imho, and they've aged well musically too, compared to American pop-punk/rock acts.. It's kind of cringey hearing men in their mind 40's still singing about teenage issues when they aren't 19 anymore and have written many songs on the topic.

I agree! I think they always sorta got stuck in that in-between place where they never quite got huge but had a decent amount of popularity. I remember a friend of mine recommending them years ago. I think their first album had already been out for a while by that point, so it seems to have stayed kinda underground at first, which is weird because I like their first album best. I like the stuff they did after but nothing will ever top their first album for me. (check out "Try Honesty" and "River Below")
