Why is Kanye going from obscene songs about sex to Gospel Music?

You'd have to ask him!

But the Obscene album was from before his psych-ward stay and apparent learning of MK-ULTRA (according to his twitter leaks). That was really only one of two albums that he was obscene on out of his large discography (The Life of Pablo & My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the latter of which was the lesser obscene and is a good album in it's own right) - His first 3 albums are honestly great. So is Yeezus, it's like honest, confused anger.

But I do like Gospel Kanye best. He did release Jesus Walks as one of his first singles which discuses how he won't get radio plays if he makes songs about Christ among other things obviously (this came out before 808s and heartbreak which came out in like 08). He never was an obscene rapper if you actually listen to his discography.

For whatever he is, as big as a celebrity and hip-hop artist as he is, I've never seen anyone of his class say something like this in one of their (recent) songs:

"Black on black lies is worse than black on black crime

The Jews share their truth on how to make a dime

Most black men couldn't balance a checkbook

But buy a new car, talkin' 'bout, "How my neck look?"

Well, it all looks great

Four hundred years later, we buyin' our own chains

The light is before us brothers, so the devil workin' hard

Real family stick together and see through the mirage

The smokescreens, perceptions of false reality

Who the real owner if your boss gets your salary?"

I think this is the first time I'm sharing a Kanye West track.. He's my favorite modern hip-hop artist. The media makes him look terrible, but he honestly is a pretty smart, good intentioned human being. He's flawed just like everyone else, but if you took the time to see the truth about his life, it's kinda crazy everything he's been put through (he's always been a big problem for the powers that be, Myers reaction in this clip still makes me laugh to this day along with the time they cut them off).

Including MK-ULTRA shit. On the last date before the Life of Pablo tour was canceled, he went on rant telling audience the truths we know about Google, Facebook, Politicians, etc, and he was thrown into the psychward for it and woke up after being put into a 2 week coma addicted to 80 mg of oxy, as they were giving it to him everyday without him knowing, he was unconscious. So he woke up an addict on a leash also brainwashed with the bleached hair. First thing, flies out to see Trump for a photo shoot. Not suspect at all. The hospital he stayed at is the infamous "mind control" celebrity hospital, that only celebrities who have psychological breakdowns like Lohan, Hilton, etc are taken to.

When his Twitter was hacked and everyone was expecting music leaks, in his messages, he was sending people like Travis Scott a PDF of a book on MK-ULTRA and how to resist mind control. So he's well aware of it and even speaks about it in his newer interviews.

Everything is in this interview, but I know most people here wouldn't be interested in giving it the time. This interview was after he moved to a secret location in Wyoming for over a year, even his wife didn't know where he lived (isn't that weird?), he had no phone, nothing. He said he needed to get away from everyone because he couldn't trust anyone. This all happened around 2 months after the incident when he was put into the psychward, then he randomly disappeared and deleted all of his social media and re-appeared a year and half or so later and invited certain people out to see him (you can tell how nervous he is in this first interview by his body language, just watch the first 60 seconds and you'll hear everything you need to hear): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxwfDlhJIpw

"What do you think caused the breakdown?"

"Fear.. Stress.. Control.. Being controlled.. Manipulation.. Like being a pawn, a chess piece, in the game of life.. Stressing over things that create validation that I didn't need to worry about as much.. And the concept of competition and being in competition with so many elements at one time, within a race against time, with age, you're getting old.. A race against popularity.. I could take up the whole interview just talking about everything.."
