Hopefully the woke, pedowood studios close shop and make room for decent human beings.

I wonder how long it took for him to find that one out.

People been saying this for years. Movie business isn't finished, but they will reinvent themselves to not be stale. Also nobody really gives a fuck about the Oscars outside of the movie industry. Why should anyone care about a big industry circle jerk where they wank each other off over how great they are.

Only one metric isn't totally subjective. Money. How profitable is the movie. That's what the studios care about, and as audiences opinions wain they are gonna chase whatever they think the next big thing will be.

Hollyweird needs to get over this woke nonsense and start writing great movies again. Originals do not reboot.

I've seen very few overtly woke films that weren't avant garde indie crap, or shoehorned into mainstream films in a trite and tired manner like the Avengers Assemble Girl Power moment.

People need places to go out with each other. There simply aren't enough good alternatives to take over from cinemas.

There are plenty of better alternatives but not for the sedentary anti-social crowd.

We are seeing a repeat of the death of the studio system in the late 1960s, when they were still churning out musicals like Dr. Doolittle that nobody wanted to see at a time when Easy Rider came out. Replace "musical" with "superhero movies" and you have the same thing.

That musical-bashing narrative is just more boomer propaganda used to normalize degenerate schlock. Easy Rider may have been a hit then but try watching it now. Those kinds of movies were not better, just cheaper. Ironically, Doctor Doolittle is why George Lucas was able to keep the merchandising rights to Star Wars.

Meanwhile, Oliver! grossed a fortune and won six Oscars including Best Picture while Funny Girl earned Barbra Streisand an Oscar and established her as a major star.

The main problem with Dr. Doolittle was it hired a lead who can't sing, in a musical.

You mean the guy who won a Tony and an Oscar for My Fair Lady?

Imagine giving a fuck about industry awards. I don't know who the fuck Oscar and Tony are, of they're happy together then good for them. But I don't think they need to bring on a third wheel.

Imagine where John Lennon would be if he had never written that stupid song. Would he still have gotten bumped off? It obviously had nothing to do with “Woman is the Nigger of the World” since his assassin was neither a woman nor a nigger.

I've seen him in Moskow he's got pretty good digs now. I think he should have stuck with the revolution of the workers though that whole music aside was not his best look.
