    Season 2 is announced to run in summer 2023. But I'm not even through with season 1. I posted this because it combines some nice aspects of the "old" star-trek as well as the "new" star-trek. So far I like it. Which has become seldom these days.

    It is a new "series", so to say. A prequel anyway in a timely sense.
