I'm watching it right now.

It's not like a western, he's right.

However it's clearly set in the 1920s when fashion was very different to the old West.

Also a time when everything was a lot safer and more boring than the 19th century.

But so far it seems like one of those films where the whole plot is driven by a couple of the characters not having a good old chat over their differences at the beginning.

I often defend those types of plots, being a quiet person myself, but when the characters are so open and emotive about every other subject then it makes no sense.

Edit: she also makes Cumberbatch far too soft and sympathetic to be a convincing brute. You keep expecting him to snap out of it.

Edit 2: so now it seems like Kirsten Dunst is the real brute. That would be a good story if they stick to it.

Edit: so I really liked it even though I was biased against it. The actual story is nothing like the description they put out and it's nice to be surprised. No massive twists just the bad guy isn't who you think it's going to be and the characters reveal themselves in interesting ways.

If they don't nig up a movie then they fag them up. Movies and TV these days is all about pandering to nigs and fags.
