As well as being a conspirophile I'm a cinephile, and I suddenly found myself amid a bunch of weird old movies, some worth sharing, and some likely worthy, yet to be confirmed.
Watching an old interview of Mark Hamill by Frank Oz, he was explaining he learned and cherished many of his failures, including a role in Slipstream. I don't know how that one slipped by me back then. This may be good for a cringe fest or it may bad. Regardless, Mark enjoyed the process of this character.

In the IMDb margin are recommended User Lists, and one classic caught my eye.
"My OOP VHS Collection" https://www.imdb.com/list/ls053024472/?ref_=tt_rls_5 is an interesting list of Out-Of-Print movies.
I remember only a few of that list and included in that list is Slipstream and at the top of that list, most attracting me, is...
Gandahar, a strange sci-fi 1988 French animated film, also known as Light Years, well worth catching.

Very much like the old Heavy Metal Magazine and the Heavy Metal movies. Also, while we're here you should DEFINITELY check out the recent new series of animated shorts produced by legendary director David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club, Manhunter, etc). They were trying to resurrect the Heavy Metal franchise, then simply decided to go it alone with Love, Death & Robots, a new TV series of animated sci-fi shorts, 2019+...

If you know me, I'm such a fan of Tigole that I actually wrote an (outdated article) about Tigole (https://infogalactic.com/info/Tigole). Most of their releases are contemporary, occasionally dipping into the classices. r00t, another friendly sharer on 1337x tends to do more movies from the 1900's. This week he shared some classics I have yet to discover...

Die Nibelungen ("The Nibelungs") is a series of two silent fantasy films created by Austrian director Fritz Lang in 1924: Die Nibelungen: Siegfried and Die Nibelungen: Kriemhild's Revenge. The scenarios for both films were co-written by Lang's then-wife Thea von Harbou, based upon the epic poem Nibelungenlied written around AD 1200.
