It was something "interesting" though not manga, and it's amazingly badass in every way, and at my fingertips.

No need to get so defensive man, chill a bit. You can be pedantic about the (lack of?) rules and quote the sidebar written in a rush or you know... realize what I was going for with this sub. The name and my posts showed that pretty clearly. It's not like I'm deleting your post or plan to, its just, you know, barely related to the topic of the sub. Posts like yours have a right to be here, just in the right proportions. Anyway, I'm still going to wait until more people start actually posting anything and interacting with this sub before I'll write anything super specific in the rules.

Not sure what atheism has got to do with anything here.

I wasn't defensive. I was explaining my interpretation of what you'd prepared and why I think this post was appropriate - and that I was trying to endorse it for more interesting content than just politics.

The atheism thing is a joke. And as godless atheists, we're free to promote all the hybrid transhuman abominations you like.

Well, you sounded really defensive in that post to me. Anyhoo, like I said before, this post is ok for now, still waiting for anyone other than me to start posting here. I'll work on this sub a little more and then I think I'll shill it on 4chan or alike, that should get it like 5 new users maybe.

Of course art is subjective but I do like the "abominations" when they're good - creatively, conceptually, technically, compositionally, gesturally, dramatically, stylistically, etc.

No. Most people confuse one dimensional quality with """"objectivity""""" which is why they keep spreading this lame "art is subjective" meme. The statement doesn't even make initial sense. How can it be "subjective"(whatever the hell that means) if it actually exists and is visible, tangible, measurable, etc. Art is very much a real object, not some imagined feeling in someone's head. Saying "no, what I actually meant is art's QUALITY is subjective" is moving the goalpost, but even then, its also false. Quality of art is not one dimensional, but it's still real (and in some cases even measurable, tho that is rare).

Bullshit. I listed over half a dozen variables. No one has the same taste. It is fundamentally subjective. This fact was around long before memes existed. "Good" = quality. If you want to argue for arguments sake go fuck yourself and waste your own time. Otherwise make sense with cogent issues.
