Barely related to the image, but man, nice quality scans/images really are... nice. the sharpness, contrast, screentones where you can see individual dots, I just really like it all. A good quality of the images can really make or break the reading experience for me. Low res with bad contrast kills the appeal of many manga for me.

Chapter looks interesting and decent, but I've just finished reading 7 volumes of "12 beast", another MonMusu manga by Okayado and I'm spoiled. More of the 2 new harpies, yay! And a longer chapter in general, neato. My moonrunes are getting better or this chapter used simpler language cuz I was able to read quite a lot. But the resolutions is as trash as ever so I didn't bother deciphering all those kanji. The gist is conveyed well by art alone tho.

It has 2 things I absolutely adore: extreme angle/perspective and hard edge pixels... well almost hard edge, because it's a jpg, but its still surprisingly crisp. In few places it has what seems like half opacity pixels, but I don't know of they're intentional or just jpg artifacts. It'd be nice to have a clean png of it...

I think it's alright since it only links to list, which links to a torrent and only the content of that torrent is actually porn. There's enough degrees of separation between saidit and the actual porn that it should be fine. Just keep in mind the "no porn" rule wasn't my idea, so if it disappears one day that wouldn't be me. I really like it so far, tho its such a shame it so short, I think around 18 pages. But the art's lovely and it looks fun. Can't be bothered to look up all the moonrunes atm, so I just skimmed what I already knew and everything looks mostly self explanatory maybe with the exception of the Harpy conversations. The resolution is pretty shit tho, especially annoying when the kanji becomes small and they devolve to just a blur of pixels. You either know those or you can't even look them up because you can't SEE what you'd even WANT to look up.

But yeah, all in all, nice chapter, nice art, looks like Okayado had fun doing this and it looks like it'll be another longer arc. Great!

Sure did, took like 7-10 hours total of learning, experimenting and tweaking pixels and colour values. Still could be improved a bit, but mostly on a technical level, I'm rather content with the aesthetics.

I'm thinking of using the place on the side for some comfy memes and that one fit the purpose quite nicely. Maybe later I'll swap it with Rachnera with ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) face.

Properly this time, not like with hot springs chapters which were kinda disjointed or the centaur chapters which were completely unconnected to each other. I also REALLY hope we're going back to more frequent releases. I hope Okayado's all healthy again and full of motivation because I want Monster Musume to keep going for a couple more years, it'd be quite lonely without it.
