Remember when they said the Microsoft sell-out wouldn't change anything? That was a lie, because MC is now SJW. If you're a Republican on Xbox, it's probably a good idea to avoid multiplayer like the plague, just so you can access your single-player worlds.

I don't think the single-player lock-out will happen on other platforms, but just to be safe, I wouldn't engage in any multiplayer on any Bedrock version. I'm personally never playing Minecraft on my Xbox One ever again. I don't want to spend time and effort there, just to be locked out for my political opinions. (I prefer Java anyways.)

But this over-reach might soon expand to Java, since they're forcing us onto Microsoft accounts. Since you need to login to your account to even play in single-player, Minecraft may soon become a Democrat-only game.

We need programmers, not activists, Mojang. I want blocks, not hammers and sickles.

I tried it, it's cool but it's only focused on certain countries censorship whole ignoring others. There's Russia and Vietnam, but no China, North Korea or USA. Even tho I know Chinese and obviously North Koreans can't easily play original Minecraft version to play this map, it would still be cool. And Russians that want still can easily accept "censored" materials because of how bad the censorship in Russia is. Also, I'm pretty sure the creators would be banned if some wiki leaks materials of what the CIA does would be on this server.

Right now, I'm working on RetroComputers, which is basically the equivalent of RedPower 2's computers for modern versions of the game. Basic functionality already works, it boots, you can write programs, and you can save them to disk. Pretty much rewriting the mod as it is released for 1.12 right now, and then I'm planning to add some stuff on top of that, for example this alternative style of the computer and peripherals I've gone way overboard on, which I think looks great, but was never released.

Voltz Wars is basically about various conflicts that happen between the various factions, with mods like ICBM providing interesting missiles and CustomNPCs allowing for a living population other than the YouTubers themselves starting around Season 4. The best parts start with Season 3, in my opinion, where there is interesting mystique following a new antagonist one of the groups accidentally created. There are some later spinoff series that are connected to the old ones in interesting ways as well, like Magic Wars.

The only Minecraft YouTuber I currently watch is SethBling (well, that is, when he uploads a new video once in a while). But I used to regularly watch direwolf20 and Mumbo Jumbo a couple of years ago. I guess as I, instead of actually playing the game, just wrote code for my mod all the time, my interest in seeing other people playing also kinda disappeared? I still want to play the game again, but kind of want to get the rewrite of my mod into a working state first :P

I follow build channels (i.e. Jeracraft) and some that play minigames / PvP (PopularMMOs is one of the most famous) or troll (Skeppy, Doni Bobes). I've never heard of modded storyline stuff, besides that one mostly-incoherent series PopularMMOs did. What's it about?

I used to love the Yogscast and the YouTubers who did Voltz Wars: Finbarhawkes, D_2the_avid, amd FmBgames, but sadly all of the nice modded series with storylines are gone :( . If I had someone to collaborate with on this, I would really like to create a series inspired by them.

I play the game once every few years. I set up a server on my computer and then my best friend and I play together until we beat the "bosses".

Usually we find a village and then fortify it while connecting all the buildings like some crazy maze.
