The two major political parties won't have aligned interests on the mentioned issues. Also, the United States of America might be embroiled in a hot civil war, assuming current trends continue into the future.

You know, I worried about this too at first. There are a few things that lead me to believe there wont be a civil war. First off, The Trump Republicans are crazy but they are also used to being rich and making money. There is no money in a civil war. Americans also be crazy. The entire lower fifty would be like North Ireland in the 70s'. The war would never end.

Second, there are out of touch centrists that lean slightly right that dont pay much attention to the news that will say in the polls that they like Trump and he is doing a fine job that absolutely will not stand by him when he turns maximum crazy. His popularity has never even reached 50% not once. He just doesn't have the Juice.

He has alienated everybody. The FBI, CIA, NSA, Libertarians, independents, Democrats and half the Military. A lot of people still fallow because he IS Commander and Chief and they are staunchly Patriotic to a fault and serve the Constitution. But he has made enemies on all sides and every last one is waiting their turn.

Finally, These people in trumps cabinet have no friends. Trump has proven time and time again that if you are not with him you are against him. He will throw anybody under the buss no mater how long they have served him. Right now Trump is a useful tool that is making the rich wealthy and the wealthy, filthy stinking wealthy. A civil war would put that in jeopardy. If he puts their money in jeopardy, they will throw him under the buss. He is too stupid to know that he is a tool.

No. It will be ugly for a while. People will die. But without gerrymandering in place they cant win. This is a liberal country and they cannot win without cheating. The more they cheat and swindle and rob us the more of us stand up. The more they put kids in cages, the more of us stand up. The more they take away healthcare and refuse to pay a living wage the more we stand up. Democracy is a process and things dont get done overnight. Hillary, the Russians and the DNC had us divided on the last election. Trumps own polls show that he has no real chance in 2020. I have hopes we will put this behind us soon enough.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading :D

Our government does not want a civil war, maybe other international institutions do or think tanks to obliterate our soverignty but there likely will not be a civil war instigated solely by political interests. If our economy collapses, worse than what we saw in late 2007 early 2008, then there could be major civil strife.

First off, The Trump Republicans are crazy but they are also used to being rich and making money. There is no money in a civil war. Americans also be crazy. The entire lower fifty would be like North Ireland in the 70s'. The war would never end.

All of them are crazy, you use that word a lot and to them it really doesn't mean anything. They are smart in how the utilize cognitive infiltration and cointelpro tactics. Trump says the things he says not because he believes in his alleged twitter posts and wonky speeches, but because it is a means to divide and conquer. If anything Trump is Israel first, America maybe. His base aligns with the Likud hard-liners and Zionists.

There is no money in a civil war. Americans also be crazy. The entire lower fifty would be like North Ireland in the 70s'. The war would never end.

No money in a civil war for most entities but some institutions would make a rackett off of it. Look back at the Bolshevik Revolution, most Russians did not support it, but a few thousand people were able to successfully take over the government. New York banks funded the revolution as did Germany. There was civil strife around Russian, pogroms by the whites against the reds and pogroms by the reds against the whites. I do not think that will happen in the US though.

Polls don't mean much, nobody in washington cares about polls except mockingbird media. I'm not one to like Trump but I do question his motives when it comes to foreign policy. Many of the neoconservative neotrotskyites such as Willam Kristol hate Trump. I find that odd because these are the same warmongers that cooked up the war on terror in the early 90's. They urged Clinton to go to war with Iraq but the bombing in 1998 was not enough for them. Bush and specifically Cheny and all the Zionist likud party hard-liners used the "new pearl harbor' as a pretext for their agenda authored in the PNAC documents and Clean break documents sponsored by Benjamin Netanyahu.

So, it's odd to me that Kristol would hate Trump when it seems Trump has a bunch of neocons around him including Bolton and others. If anything I think it is all a show to get those on the left-wing news to support a coming war with Iran. The necons want a war but they want Iran to initiate it. I think the plan is to interview the bush neocons on msnbc and cnn in order to trump up suppoort for the coming war.

Trump has alienated many persons and institutions but how much of it is true, and how much of it is theatrics and propaganda/distraction?

I agree Trump is a useful tool, I just hope to dear god that the neotrotskyites do not get to him.
