War is fueled by patriotism. Genocide (Hitler era for instance) was fueled by the paradigm that a race is superior. Slavery was fueled by the paradigm that one race is superior to the other. All these things are justified by those committing it. Similarly, in our context also, things will be justified by those committing it. It is all they need - a justification.
