I've loved Alan Watts' relaxed atmosphere of wit and wisdom for decades, so I was delighted to discover this channel. I really can't hear any of it too many times, it's always delightful and enlightening.

Many people I've suggested him to mention his books seeming inaccessible--whether they are or not, his talks are easy, smart, and direct in the best kind of way. Some of his cultural references are dated, to be sure, but the rest is timeless wisdom all the way, imo.

I've only read his 'The Book: On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are' and it was very accessible.

I really like his voice and mostly his black and white lectures before he got the beard. It is a good thing to keep in mind (and sobering) that he drank himself to death https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Watts#Death .
